Every dog has instinctual behaviors that they will perform at different intensities based on breed and temperament, but most of these are not suited for the home environment. When our dogs express themselves in unwanted ways, we need to look at why they are behaving that way to understand how to appropriately eliminate those behaviors. This requires a trainer to discuss thoroughly with you and assess the home set-up to devise a specific management and training plan to ensure your dog is better adjusted, practicing good behaviors and has outlets for their core needs. Private training is always followed with an emailed training plan with detailed information, resources, and/or videos so you feel educated and assured going forward.
