Dog Adventures
Welcome to the dream for your active pup! Before starting adventures, we assess each dog with a 30-minute consultation to get to know them, followed by a private adventure with the trainer. This helps us observe their behavior in the car, on the trail, at the park, and wherever the adventure leads. From there, we will determine whether group adventures or private adventures will be the best fit for your individual dog.
We always work on appropriate behaviors in public spaces, whether that be walking nicely on a leash, structured greetings, recall on or off leash, and passing distractions calmly. But the main goal of adventures is FUN! You can guarantee your dog will come home happy and tired.
To participate in The People’s Pup Adventures, all dogs must:
Be social with dogs and people (for group adventures only)
Be comfortable riding in a car in close proximity to other dogs (for group adventures only)
Have basic foundational cues (name recognition, sit, wait, come)
Be fully up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis,
parainfluenza, parvovirus)
Take a monthly flea and tick control
Wear a collar or harness with current tags at all times
